Michael Cohen, a former Trump lawyer, is expected to testify during the ongoing criminal trial in Manhattan.

Michael Cohen will have text messages and other evidence to use against former President Donald Trump in his upcoming testimony, Cohen's lawyer said this week.On Monday, Lanny Davis, a legal adviser to Cohen, appeared on MSNBC's Morning Joe to talk about Trump's ongoing criminal trial in Manhattan over alleged hush money payments made to ex-adult film Star Stormy Daniels in 2016.

'The former president has continued to deny any wrongdoing, while saying that it should be dismissed and criticizing New York Supreme Court Justice Juan Merchan, who is overseeing the case.Cohen was previously disbarred as an attorney and served time in jail for campaign violations and tax and bank fraud.
