Miami-Dade does not plan to reopen beaches anytime soonMiami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez has not made an announcement on how and when the county will reopen; but he made one thing clear during a virtual town hall: opening beaches is not in the works. Why would they/he. That would make to much sense. The vast majority - almost all cases are a result from being in confined spaces, with the home being most likely place to contract. Science tells us we should be outside- so of course they disagree. His city should decide. Not DC Open beaches with proper social distancing is reasonable. Americans are not children. They act responsibly and safely.
