The condo board president, Jean Wodnicki wrote that the concrete damage to the building would “multiply exponentially over the years, and indeed the observable damage such as in the garage has gotten significantly worse over the years.”
The purpose of the letter, dated April 9, 2021, was to explain to residents the worthiness of the construction projects for the 40-year-old building ahead of the following week’s meeting about a proposed special assessment of $15 million to be paid by residents. Florida buildings are required to be recertified for electrical and structural safety after 40 years, and the building had begun that process.
Come retire in lovely unsafe, racist, hotter than hades Florida where you will be either shot, beaten or run over if you try to even protest the conditions of it...
yet no one is talking about how john mcafee had a condo there
The best choice I've made this year was investing in cryptocurrency and forex trading and earning from home. With the help of LISAMARKDONALDT I've been earning weekly I've never regretted this decision.
board president, how on earth did board allowed condo to deteriorate to finally collapse? 'A switch in time saves nine!'
Nothing would have stopped the incident from April to June
this cannot prove anything but money requirement. 15millions probably can build a new one.
Thought we warned you guys👀
this is terrible news
thanks
It’s not likely that the repairs if they had begun in April would have been resolved in time to prevent this tragedy. Yes, it’s a Condo Association, but someone owns the building and profits from the sale of those condos. The developer should be held responsible.
What did the board President do with the Condo fees 🙄🙏🙄
So in other words being cheap caused some of them their lives
Condo board president just in April: 'A lot of this work could have been done or planned for in years gone by. But this is where we are now” “We have discussed, debated, and argued for years now, and will continue to do so for years to come...” Yes, she survived.
Why was building allowed to get into this condition in the first place? Where did the over $1M in maintenance fees collected go? Why did board wait until 2021 when they had a report in 2018? They acknowledge the horrible condition of building. How did inspector say it was fine?
Procrastination kills.
Property developers. It’s almost enough to make you think communism would be better. But this scum is the world over. Except where greed does not rule.
