Mercedes is set to storm Auto China with a host of debuts including the facelifted EQS and all-new G-Class EV. Besides electric vehicles , Mercedes - AMG will introduce the new GT 63 S E Performance. The company also hinted at a new E-Class variant as well as something from Maybach . China is one of Mercedes ’ most important markets and the brand is showing that by announcing plans to introduce a handful of models at Auto China .
A few days later, on April 24, Mercedes will introduce the G-Class EV. The company has been teasing the model for what feels like an eternity and said it’s an off-road icon “reimagined for the electric age.” The electric SUV will follow in the footsteps of the facelifted variant that was introduced last month, but sport a fully enclosed grille, improved aerodynamics, and a charging port where the fuel filler is normally located.
