Melrose Park man who set Chicago's 'Walking Man' on fire was an 'angry person,' prosecutors say

CHICAGO -- The man charged with setting a homeless man on fire who was often seen walking around downtown Chicago is being held without bail.Joseph Guardia

Prosecutors said Guardia didn't know Kromelis. He told police he was angry and looking to set something on fire. "This defendant did not target someone who he had an argument with or someone who wronged him or someone he knew," Hanichak said."He targeted the most vulnerable person possible."

I would cut his hair for free anytime i was in the city. I usually found him by upper wacker and would have my cape n shears. Havent been since covid but, He never EVER deserved this Chicago needs to hell this angel. Im not family but maybe my voice could help?
