Meghan Markle Wore a Thing: Aritzia Midi Dress in Africa Edition

The Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle has been known to wear accessible pieces, ranging from her choice of clothing to accessories. And while on tour in South Africa this past week, she's certainly exhibited how a budget-friendly garment from Madewell or J.Crew can look both polished and sophisticated.

On Monday, the Duchess chose to wear another reasonably priced ensemble to visit Victoria Yards, a cultural hub in Johannesburg's inner city that houses a number of art galleries and studios. While there, the Duchess stopped by several organizations including Sneakers 4 Change, which provides shoes to those who are less fortunate, Young Bucks, a business that makes books out of recycled materials and Tshepo, a local denim designer.

For the outing, she sported an indigo button-front midi dress from Aritzia — one of her go-to retailers for well-made, affordable basics. The flattering frock, which is made from a drapey fabric, is still available for $148. She accessorized the look with suede slingback Everlane flats in a statement red, which are also still available and retail for only $155.
