It’s Mental is a series aiming to open up the conversation around fashion and mental health — from honest talks about the pressures of working in the industry to how clothing can be used as a means to cope and uplift. In this installment we highlight emerging brandAs high schoolers growing up in Los Angeles, Noah Raf and Mason Spector started their own menswear brand, with Noah styling celebrities when he was in his early 20s .

“I think growing up in Los Angeles and in New York, so many brands felt very closed off or negative,” Peiman shared on the phone with“You know, you're walking into a streetwear [store] and it just wouldn't be a good atmosphere.” The group, all between 23 and 25, decided to create something that they felt was the exact opposite of that, officially launching their clothing brand
