Today, the Texas-based medical marijuana provider, goodblend, is hosting the grand opening of its brick-and-mortar pickup location on the far North Side . The shop at 18720 Stone Oak Parkway is marking the occasion by giving out free and discounted prescriptions to those who qualify under the Texas Compassionate Use Program .

Nico Richardson, the interim chief executive officer of Texas’ largest medical marijuana dispensary, told the Texas Tribune the program had registered around 45,000 patients as of last April.
