A squabble over “misgendering” offered a surreal sideline to the horrific Nashville Christian school massacre as activists called out news outlets scrambling to keep up with the suspect’s preferred pronouns.

The “Ophelia” account tweeted: “I’m too f—ing tired to continue the perennial argument that it’s transphobic to misgender even the worst people in the world, but like. yeah. it is.”Meanwhile, the Metro Nashville Police Department continued Tuesday to refer to the shooter on social media as “she” and “her.”

He said police had also learned “Audrey was receiving help for an emotional disorder, but she had not been committed to an institution.” That included The Washington Times, where the editorial policy is, when possible, to use preferred “he” or “she” pronouns, and The Associated Press, which explained in its“For hours, police identified the shooter as a 28-year-old woman and eventually identified the person as Audrey Hale,” the AP reported. “Then at a late afternoon press conference, the police chief said that Hale was transgender.

“So now He/Him is female? I thought it was LITERALLY an act of violence and a hate crime to misgender someone?” Mr. Trump tweeted.

Tennessee school shooting: What to know about Covenant School in NashvilleThe Covenant School in Nashville, where three students and three adults were killed in a Monday shooting, is a private Presbyterian school for pre-K through sixth-grade students. How many Californians have moved there? 🤷🏻‍♂️ The one thing we know for sure is the GOP's hands are soaked in the blood of innocent children. George W Bush should spend the rest of his life regretting the decision he made to allow the 90's assault weapons ban to expire. Just another sicko person in this case a female and why was the school doors unlocked given all the evidence to limit entry.

Nashville school shooting: Tennessee Rep. Burchett calls for release of trans shooter's manifestoTennessee Republican Tim Burchett called for the public release of the transgender church shooter's manifesto after the tragic shooting at a Nashville Presbyterian private school. Of course it should be released. We sure are grateful for Rep. Burchett's suggestion that we should give even more attention to this heinous act by sharing the shooter's manifesto. That's exactly what the world needs right now. Sarcasm I've been waiting. I'm sure Dems are trying to stop its release. It's probably a very telling document, not only about the evil child killer but also shed some light on the overall sick culture.
