products to come out this year, you might have been waiting to see what McDonald's move in the space would be.Well, hold on to your hats, because today we learned that McDonald's will begin its foray into meat-free meals on Monday.Meet the P.L.T. – it stands for Plant, Lettuce, Tomato, and is a lot like their other burgers, but made with a Beyond Meat patty.
This new burger will arrive in 28 locations in Canada starting September 30, so if you're a local you can check it out at these locations:To the Americans who are going to complain about this in the comments: The testing will last for 12 weeks, so you have plenty of time to book a trip to Canada to try these! ;)For a dairy-free version, make sure to request this without the cheese or special sauce.
So that's exciting! In the meantime, I'll be thinking of reasons to plan a trip to Canada before the 12 weeks are over.
As long as you can use their self-service kiosks to customise your order and swap the plant out for actual food that’s fine
How about no
um but lettuce and tomatoes are also plants.
Hard pass, bring on the BEEF!!!
Lettuce and tomato are both plants, so skip the (P)rocessed frankenburger and make it a P:LT.
