A Maryland man charged with threatening to kidnap and kill Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris has been arrested, according toThe man, identified as James Dale Reed, detailed graphic threats against Biden and Harris in a handwritten letter that, in part, stated"when we capture Grandpa Biden, we will all severely beat him to the point of death…and both will be executed on National Television," according to a criminal complaint filed with the...

Reed, 42, left the letter on the doorstep of a resident in Frederick, Md., on or about Oct. 4, who had several Biden/Harris signs were in the yard, according to the complaint. The likeness of Reed was captured by a doorbell ring device, according to the complaint filed by a special agent for the Secret Service. But the resident did not recognize Reed.
