GARFIELD HEIGHTS, Ohio – A man being chased by Maple Heights police officers early Friday died after he crashed into a tree in Garfield Heights, according to police.
Officers responded to gunshots they heard near Hollywood and Mapleboro avenues. Officers searched the area and found a silver sedan with several people inside. When they tried to pull over the car, two men got out and ran away and the driver sped away, police said.
