It’s called cheating. It’s been going on for decades.

The accommodations are there for ALL students. But instead of farming your kids out to your aunt to go get your weave done on your day off, you have to use your free time to go sit with teachers and admins and apply, insist, advocate, and WORK for your kids.

Winnetka & environs have 24% getting extra time.

TOO BUSY VANDALIZING, DOPING, SEXING...... U NAME IT ...I WAS BUSY..MAKE IT 'OK' TO HAVE A 'STAND IN' TAKE YOUR BRATS TEST...THE CRAP THAT'S IN OUR UNIVERSITIES, I LOOK FOR THE KID THAT DIDN'T GET CONDITIONED BY GOIN TO COLLEGE...BIKE LOCK ON A CHAIN ...NOT INCLUDED...

ALL U NEED TO DO..MAKE YO.....MARK.....'.I WAS A POOR _____ CHILD'...'THE JERK'

WHY EVEN DO S.A.T'S..THIS IS RACISM...JUST LET THE ILLEGALS IN ..FOR FREE...I WISH I HAD 'NO STINKING PAPERS'............

Because their parents can pay for therapists to say they need it.

If I was a rich man... dodododo... I wouldn’t have to work hard.

So the SAT says then let’s punish the kids who worked hard for these tests! We must make America a country of mediocrity. Remove meritocracy from the dictionaries. Shame on you CollegeBoard !

Working Poor cannot catch a break.!.. KKKOCHSUCKERUNIVERSE

Tell us something we don't know. This practice is an example of how white supremacy is deeply embedded in the American psyche. Adolf Hitler created the SAT! Now it's in America doing what it did during Hitler's reign...identify those slated for annihilation!

It all comes down to single-parent families. Fix the problem of fatherless kids and you'll fix the disadvantages they face in academics and poverty.

You should note that schools in more affluent areas to not go to the extremes that schools in poorer districts go to in order to prevent students from getting the IEPs necessary for accommodations. IEPs means additional expenses for the schools and some schools can't afford

Why are these tests timed? Why a premium on rapid choices? Why multiple choice tests? What do these tests mean, other than that colleges have abrogated the obligation to assess the potential in prospective students?

It's the instructor's fault not the students'

its normal for the democratic center to censorship the journalist here but not to the N.Y times

Four Reasons The College Board's New Adversity Score Is A Bad IdeaThe College Board's new adversity score, which it will calculate for students taking the SAT is meant to address evidence that children of wealthy, college-educated parents score higher on the SAT than less privileged students. It is not advisable for at least four reasons. The 'Adversity' is on the streets, where a black child is 'acting white' if he does his homework. Where parents don't care if their kid goes to school or not. Where schools are so bad, they graduate with at a third grade reading level. This won't help!
