Photo provided by the Upper Allen Township Police Department.pngCourt records are now outlining what lead up to a officer involved shooting at a Harrisburg intersection Wednesday afternoon.According to his criminal complaint, Harrisburg Police attempted to conduct a traffic stop for 38-year-old Jacob Bucher III.
Officials state they tried pulling over the Harrisburg resident as they had reason to believe that he was possibly involved with earlier shootings. Authorities report that once pulled over, Bucher got out of a silver-mini van and started walking away.Police say Bucher then pulled out a firearm, pointed it at an officer, and fired at him, prompting the officer to shoot back at Bucher.
Bucher's affidavit indicates that Bucher continued walking east on Arsenal Blvd. despite being struck by one of the officer's rounds.A criminal docket for Bucher was filed shortly after, showing that he is now being charged for the following:
