Tuesday, March 19, 2024 2:40AMPolice are investigating after a man was slashed in the face during a dispute with another man aboard an LIRR train in Queens on Monday.Police sources say it appeared that a 27-year-old man and a 32-year-old man got into a verbal dispute that escalated and turned physical.The suspect was taken into custody with charges pending and the victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he's in stable condition.
The victim tried to get on the train when the suspect was blocking the entrance, the witness said. The victim asked him to move out the way and eventually got on the train.
