High speed appears to have been a factor in a weekend two-vehicle crash in which a Waukegan man was killed, according to police.

The occupants of the other vehicle, a Beach Park man in his 60s and two Beach Park women in their 70s, were not injured.

Police said they are unsure if the man who died was wearing his seat belt. Police said his name will be released pending the completion of an autopsy and notification of next of kin.
