SAN ANTONIO — A man is in critical condition after he was allegedly shot multiple times in the upper body by a suspect currently on the run, according to SAPD.

Witnesses told police the unknown suspect, believed to be in his mid 30s, was chasing the victim before he caught him, shooting him three to four times in the upper torso. The 35-year-old victim was transported to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition. Sargent Howard said a person did stop to render aid to the victim before emergency crews arrived at the scene.
