GLENDALE, AZ — Glendale police say a 26-year-old man was taken to a hospital after a shooting involving one of their officers Sunday afternoon.Police say they responded to the area after multiple reports of a robbery at a store.
Officials say multiple customers and employees called after a person was"acting erratically" and"waving what appeared to be a handgun."When an officer arrived on the scene, the man was still"acting erratically and pointed a handgun at the officer."Officials say no officers were injured.The alleged suspect is expected to be taken into custody after he is released from the hospital.
