OAKLAND — A man was fatally shot and two other men were wounded Friday afternoon in East Oakland, authorities said.The shooting happened about 1:57 p.m. Friday outside in the 4400 block of International Boulevard.
The man killed was pronounced dead at the scene. The others were taken to a hospital but their conditions were not immediately available. What led up to the shooting was under investigation. No arrests were immediately announced and no other details were released by police.The killing is the 92nd homicide investigated by Oakland police this year. Last year at this time police had investigated 100 homicides in the city. The California Highway Patrol has also investigated five homicides this year on Oakland freeways, including one Wednesday night.
