Jason Gordon, 41, was apprehended in Philadelphia after previously being charged with first-degree murder and two related weapons offenses last week, prosecutors said. Police responded to a 911 call requesting a welfare check at Carmen Gordon’s Cozzens Court home on Dec. 22, police said. Officers located her body shortly after 11 a.m. inside the residence, authorities said.The investigation into the incident is ongoing. Authorities are asking anyone with information or surveillance footage of the area to contact East Brunswick Police Det. Robert Thuring at 732-390-6990 or Det. Kevin Schroeck of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office at 732-745-4194.
