Saskatoon police say they responded to the 300 block of 33rd Street West at about 11 a.m. to reports of two separate attempted robberies involving a firearm within minutes of each other.
Police were preparing to possibly start a canine track when officers saw a man that matched the suspect’s description leaving an apartment building in the 1100 block of Avenue D North and attempting to leave the area in a taxi, police told the StarPhoenix.
