A former member of the Air Force has been linked by DNA and charged in the 1993 murder, abduction and sexual assault of 9-year-old Angie Housman, prosecutors announced Wednesday.
On Nov. 27, 1993, Angie's nude body was found by a hunter in St. Charles County, Lohmar said. She was handcuffed and her head was wrapped in duct tape except for her nose, he said. She suffered a"significant, violent sexual assault" and"struggled extensively to free herself before she ultimately perished" in freezing temperatures, he said.
Better late than never. Too bad he hid that long.
😢
Heartbreaking story about a 9 year old child! 😥 Finally...the beast that is responsible is in custody and he should rot in hell.
That Ex-Air Force member will be brought to Justice. The Family of that 9 year old Girl can Finally have some Peace.
Murder, abduction and sexual assault....in that order? 😒
Finally justice has been served ⚡️♥️
I wonder how many crimes this man has committed since then.
Lock him up.
What kind of monster sexually assaults a 9-yr old girl?
Rot and in jail. God Bless this child in Jesus’ hands now but what she went through she finally got justice. 🙏♥️
His military affiliation had nothing to do with his crime. He’s a bum, leave the Air Force out of it.🇺🇸
DNA is unmasking a lot of bad people.
Monsters can hide in our uniform, but they don’t represent us
A former Air Force member, I can honestly say this does not represent what the greatest Air Force on earth is about, at all.
Death penalty
It's frightening to know Earl Cox has been free all of these years. Are they checking to see if he committed more crimes during this time?
This is so horrible. Dear god.
(((Cox)))
This is why no sex offenders should ever be released. Sexual crimes of young children need to be life sentences. Hammer them hard on even minor offenses in order to save the children they will offend later.
The AF failed miserably giving this SOB parole for multtiple sex offenses involving juveniles in the early '80s. He should've received life and this girl would still be alive.
This monster is wasting air, food, water and space just by staying alive. Death sentence.
Justice Delayed is Justice Denied...
Many of us do but if this goes to Bell, he doesn’t believe in it. Maybe St Charles?
Next stop for that bastard.
Great Job!
Who in the judicial system decides to release habitual sex offenders? Even when evidence suggests they're going to do it again. Why isn't the case made to either keep them in prison, or get them some sort of contained treatment?
Being in the military doesn’t make one perfect. I mean that sincerely
And yet they say we can trust those who swore to protect and defend us just like the cops and they wind up doing stuff like this ...if we can't trust them who can we trust ?
They're catching all these old murderers with the family DNA method (Even jack the Ripper)Yet the same method says we are apes and people can't believe it..
Okay, I am glad they caught him, but I have a problem leading that he was an Ex-Air Force member. How is that relevant to the story? It isn't. You could have left his Air Force disciplinary record as a detail in the story. This is bad reporting.
He is an example of why I still believe in the death penalty. He left that girl to freeze to death in the woods.
How about we talk about something important on this page for once. My son Rick, passed away after injecting medical marijuana 2 years ago and nothing has been done or said about this dangerous narcotic!!
He better rot in prison
