A Dauphin County man was arrested after allegedly assaulting a woman on Aug. 10, according to a release from the Pennsylvania State Police.
Police responded to the Millersburg Borough building at 1 p.m. Aug. 11 after a report of an inactive physical domestic incident. The victim stated around 10:30 the previous night that Brandon Strohm, 23, of Millersburg, became furious and grabbed her by the throat and neck. Strohm struck her multiple times with a fist in the rib cage, shoulder, and head, police said. The victim displayed injuries that were consistent with being assaulted, according to the release.
Strohm was taken into custody and then transported to the Dauphin County Judicial Center on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, strangulation, and harassment.
