PALO ALTO – A man armed with a knife robbed a Palo Alto convenience store Friday morning, police said.
Officers were called to the 7-Eleven at 708 Colorado Ave. around 12:30 a.m. for a report of a robbery, the Palo Alto Police Department said in a news release. They searched the area but did not find the suspect. The clerk, a man in his 30s, complied with the suspect’s demands. The suspect then reached across the counter and stole an open box of cigars worth about $45, police said.
