Family of slain El Monte police officer blames DA George Gascón for son's deathThe mother of officer Joseph Santana, one of two El Monte police officers killed Tuesday in a gun battle, lays the blame for her son's death on LA County District Attorney George Gascón. The mother is 100% correct. Gascon surely killed those cops as if he had fired the gun himself. Utterly, reliably predictable. They refuse to enforce existing gun laws--illegal gun possession by a felon! (who could not pass a background check)--and then tell us 'more gun laws!' And she is absolutely correct for doing so. He’s the reason this place has become a shit hole per lack of better words.
