The Canadian makeup artist created a chained, pink look for Pride in Place to represent her truest self. 🌈

Around 10 or 11, I started teaching myself makeup. Once I started high school, I was the girl that did all the makeup for musicals. Girls who would go to prom, I would do their makeup – that was my thing. Then, as soon as I turned 18, I got a job at MAC and learned a lot from the actual job. I've been freelance since then.As a queer person and as a disabled person, makeup taught me to be proud of myself. I have facial differences.

And I add chains to everything. I love sticking stuff to my face and being a walking art project. I'm sure I saw Lady Gaga with some sort of chain look at some point in the last 10 years and was like, "Ah, love that." It makes me feel like a badass, honestly. All products featured on Allure are independently selected by our editors.
