HirokoTabuchi I've wondered for 30 yrs why Saudi Arabia hasn't led world in solar investments? They have oil 💰 & they certainly have 🌞. Every country can do better. We should imitate Iceland 🇮🇸 by using nature in a good way - and conserve more!

Long-lived alliens say thanks to these news

If only the sun shone in Saudi Arabia they could use solar power.

40 years from now? This is the most worthless promise ever.

Sounds legit

That will probably be 5 years after they run out of oil to export.

Yanks also should start cutting emission ASAP

I've learnt a lot from a mentor who were instrumentally in shape with me, and I want to share what I've learnt. Investing with you has changed my life Geoffreypreud

Saudi has already started working on its plan to reduce carbon pollution by planting trees everyday also started big projects of renewable energy like winds and solar power

By 2060 it won’t matter.

Too late and impossible.

Thea not exactly ambitious. All their current leaders will be dead by then

lol, what a joke, they drill, pump, & sell oil that pollutes the world through China, & ?, but cut their emissions... rotfl. Global Climate Change will affect everyone, even Arabic people in NEOM. That is, 'Scientifically' what happens. BTW it will hurt the USA too.

Net zero is a puzz phrase, doesn't mean a lot, they need to start REDUCING oil production now

Lolok

🤣...okay...bet!

Keep it in the ground

By 2060. I kid you not.

And the US won’t do the same ….

Saudis already emitted 12 mega tones of CO2 from flying in 820 staff from around the world to compose tweets about their zero emission target

mattgaetz is my new lawyer. The year is 2060, 'rocket fuel' is 'green energy' and my new fish-tank wallpaper arrives.
