The Texas Department of Transportation has announced a major closure as part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project. However, due to inclement weather, the closure scheduled for Friday, March 8, 2024, has been canceled.

SAN ANTONIO - The Texas Department of Transportation has announced a major closure as part of the Loop 1604 North Expansion Project. However, due to inclement weather, the closure scheduled for Friday, March 8, 2024, has been canceled.Originally, the closure was set to take place on the Loop 1604 westbound mainlanes from the Lockhill Selma Road exit ramp to the IH-10 interchange for deck pour on the westbound direct connector. The nightly full closure was scheduled from 9 p.m.

While the closure scheduled for March 8 has been canceled due to weather conditions, motorists should stay updated on future closures and project developments as work progresses.
