Macy’s Looks to Thin Upper Management as Sales Fall

Macy’s Inc. gave a mostly flat outlook for fiscal 2019 as the retailer said it would further streamline its management structure to reduce costs and be faster in responding to changing customer expectations.

The Cincinnati-based company said Tuesday it launched a multiyear productivity program to reinvest in the business. Haven't been to a Macys since they got political and pulled Trumps ties. Feel sorry for the workers but Macys can go the out of business for all I care.

Macy’s needs to start providing an improved experience for their customers (style tips, friendly atmosphere, etc). Otherwise, they can get the same thing online at half the price

You could have run that headline 30 years ago, 20 years ago, 10 years ago. If they don't get it right you can run that headline as they go Chapter 11.
