was filled with twists, turns, splits, and marriages. On Friday, Netflix released this season's wedding-packed finale. Three couples got married and one couple split at the altar. But in the year since filming, what has gone down? ET's Will Marfuggi spoke with the couples prior to the finale airing where they set the record straight on the status of their relationships and even revealed some secret dating.
"They get along well, well enough. It's progress. I think as time has gone on, I've started to think about things more from my mom's side and I understand... but it took her some time to warm up to the whole situation," Kwame told ET."I'm happy with the way it's progressing. If this is meant to be for the rest of our lives, then I'm OK with the wait and patience.
"I would have said yes in that moment. I was willing to risk it. I wasn't afraid that he would say yes and I would say no," ."I wasn't afraid of looking stupid. I already looked stupid. F**k it, quite frankly. I wanted him to say yes for him. I wanted him to say yes because it's what he wanted. I didn't want him to feel pressured because he saw someone he loves be so vulnerable.
"Zack and I were on the phone that night for probably five hours from 10 to 2:30. It was a lot of deliberating, even the next morning. I was so frustrated with myself," Paul shared. Paul added of the post-altar relationship,"We knew if we weren't able to say yes, then we wanted to date. But I think what we didn't anticipate was the emotional backlash within ourself like, 'Oh s**t, that was really tough.' So we had to take some time for those emotions to settle."After this pair got off to a rocky start when Zack broke up with Bliss and proposed to Irina only to split in Mexico, they fell for each other once again in the real world.
Jackie then admits that she"chose wrong," but when Josh asks if she's ready to get married, she notes that while she can see herself getting married to him, she doesn't intend to get married"anytime soon." Jackie and Marshall later have a heart-to-heart about the end of their relationship.
