has opened its long-awaited Los Gatos cafe.
The new shop, which features a sleek, all-rounded-corners Silicon Valley-inspired design by architect Lincoln Lighthill, is located in the Old Town center. Besides offering single-origin beans for pour-overs and espresso drinks, Blue Bottle baristas are making NOLA iced coffee and serving grab-and-go Wafels, Avocado Toast, breakfast sandwiches, egg bites and pastries.
This is the 25th Bay Area location for Blue Bottle, which was founded in 2002 by coffee aficionado James Freeman, but only the fourth cafe in Santa Clara County. There are two in Palo Alto and one at Santana Row in San Jose. San Mateo also has two.
