Locally heavy rainfall possible overnight and early Wednesday

It is cloudy and dry right now, but all models show another round of potentially severe weather on the way early Wednesday morning. Model timing varies, but they all show showers with storms developing around daybreak near and along I-10 and I-75 then spreading across the area through around noon.

Scattered showers will clear the area through the early afternoon with partly cloudy skies developing by late afternoon. Sunny skies and summer temperatures are expected on Thursday. Partly cloudy skies and showers for Friday with scattered showers with storms this weekend.
