Rep. Liz Cheney says Steve Bannon's refusal to cooperate with the January 6 panel suggests Trump was 'personally involved' with the Capitol riot plans

Republican Rep. Liz Cheney blasted former President Donald Trump's ally Steve Bannon for refusing to cooperate with the House committee investigating the January 6 riot, saying that his claim of executive privilege is not only invalid, but suggests Trump was"personally involved" in the planning and execution of the riot.

"Mr. Bannon's and Mr. Trump's privilege arguments do appear to reveal one thing, however: they suggest that President Trump was personally involved in the planning and execution of January 6th," Cheney said. "And we will get to the bottom of that," Cheney added.

PattyArquette Duh

PattyArquette Naw, ya THINK !!!

They both were involved I suspect along with many others, I also suspect some in congress we’re involved too

The Honorable Rep.Liz Cheney is correct. Could be that sleaze bannon is really DONkey trumps legitimate son...So many similarities in looks & behavior....eerie!

You think. Why is that a surprise

I think it’s his right!

Trump wanted Congress to discuss the evidence of fraud in various states. The riot prevented that from happening. It's absurd to think he wanted a riot.

‘Suggests’ How about some fact checking before suggesting that

Duh!

A sane part of the republican party got into a bed full of fleas, now the entire party is covered with fleas

Doesn't suggest anything, CNN is suggesting it, they litterly make up news and outrage everyday.

Suggestions don't hold up in court.

Justice Department will need waiver from Biden to prosecute Trump ally Steve Bannon, expert saysSteve Bannon’s decision to defy a subpoena from a congressional committee investigating the Jan. 6 Capitol riot could result in serious consequences for him, but there are a few big question marks about whether he will actually face criminal prosecution. If you can’t arrest Steve Bannon you can’t arrest anyone. Trump’s not guilty? He’s guilty. Trump’s not prosecutable because he attacked us WHILE HE WAS PRESIDENT?! He should be more prosecuted. What the heck is wrong with us? This isn’t a joke or a game. This is about our freedom Show some teeth and lock him up, along with anyone blocking the investigations, including the lawyers. He looks great behind bars.
