When a melancholy ad man discovers a much-improved clone of himself, he reconsiders his life in this complex Netflix comedy

Life, for instance, and character and lessons to be learned. There’s no missing the messaging that informs every eruption of terror, every plot turn—that wisdom is being dispensed here, insight on human predilections. A heavy burden for comedy.
