Between Monday and Wednesday, 109 Palestinians have been killed and 296 injured, according to Gaza's Ministry of Health. The UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs has said some of the deadliest recent attacks by Israeli forces took place in Rafah that has killed women and children in their homes:
- At least five Palestinians, including a woman and a child, were reportedly killed when a house was hit by Israeli forces in Al Barahma neighbourhood in Tal As Sultan area in western Rafah. It also comes as the Biden administration is due to deliver a first-of-its-kind formal verdict this week on whether the air strikes on Gaza and restrictions on delivery of aid have violated international and US laws designed to spare civilians from the worst horrors of war.
