1. Netflix’s “Crime Scene: Vanishing at the Cecil Hotel” chronicles the disappearance and death of Elisa Lam, which took place at the notorious Cecil Hotel located on Skid Row in Los Angeles.--mostly due to a piece of surveillance video released after Elisa’s disappearance that shows her behaving very strangely in the hotel elevator on the night she disappeared.
But the show is still receiving a lot of criticism. It’s being accused of being less interested in revealing that truth, than spinning up fodder for online message boards. It also seems to reinforce negative stigmas surrounding mental health.

Listen: David Dobrik And His Vlog Squad Have Been Problematic For A While“He would constantly make fat-phobic jokes about his friends who are fat. There would also be a lot of slut-shaming of his female friends. It really runs the gamut.” Okay so if you’re gonna criticize David don’t criticize him for this. Jonah made jokes about his size from the beginning and if there was issue we would know. Carina made jokes about sleeping with a ton of people and David all the time. Don’t grasp for straws for clicks Buzzfeed. What the hell is a Vlog squad? Say it ain't so! Dobrik is/was great. This guy gave away more cars and money than Wheel of Fortune. Sad to see this but he, at least, admitted what was wrong and admits to completely screwing up. It doesn't fix the past but he deserves a 2nd chance. IMHO.
