Will SpaceX Really Be Flying People To Mars In 10 Years?SpaceX’s President Gwynne Shotwell has said she is confident that the company will be launching people regularly to Mars in a decade. Puffing..... Not a chance. I'm up on the shielding, propulsion, and survival tech needed for this trip...we'll be TESTING it in space in 10 years. We really need to get a lunar settlement going first. That will be a great testbed for all of this stuff. That's the dumbest thing I've read today and I am confident that it'll be just as dumb in 10, correction, 50 years from now.
