Re: “Wray defends ‘real FBI’ against GOP criticism — He denies agency’s actions show bias against Republicans,” Thursday news story.To see a formerly law-and-order group like Republicans attack the director of the FBI makes me cringe. Chris Wray isn’t prejudiced against conservatives, but against criminals. He’s pursuing justice and everyone should support him.

There is no shortage of workers. They exist and are ready to work. There is a shortage of employers willing to pay higher wages to lure workers to apply. Employers are contributing to the labor shortage as well.Recent articles and letters express my thoughts beautifully. Increasingly I have paused before calling myself a Christian. People proclaiming Christianity are grasping for political power and pushing the dogma of judgment, intolerance and fear.

We are giving away our freedoms to people who crave power, and soon they will be giving away our country. No country has done more for the world than the U.S. This can only continue if we accept our many duties to ensure our freedoms will be available for future generations and the world.
