Letter: 'I’m finding that my neighbors and friends know next to nothing about what’s occurring with regard to climate change.'

As a local reader, I’m writing to ask you to begin publishing regular features on the state of the climate change emergency.

The climate crisis is a major continuing news event — some may argue the most significant of our time — and yet there is little regular coverage which puts actions into perspective and reports on both the big picture: what our current CO2 levels are; what current science says they should be; what our country and others are adding to the atmosphere each year; what our goals are and how well we are meeting those goals; what is happening statewide and locally to meet those goals; what others are...

I want to see that kind of regular reporting as a part of my newspaper and I ask you to develop and publish it.

A reporter bravely tells her abortion story: Letter from the Editor'Gretchen Cuda Kroen said it’s a debate about bodily autonomy, and now, as a result of the Supreme Court’s unprecedented abridgment of a right, roughly half the people in this country don’t have it.' What right? I couldn't find homicide mentioned in the Constitution. Moreover the Court's ruling changed nothing in many states - NY, CT, CA and others - Where killing unborn babies remains law. Enough with the completely false reporting/statements. It was never a 'right' to kill a baby, Roe completely made that up out of thin air.
