Leaked body camera footage reveals Scottie Scheffler's conversation with police

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Leaked body camera footage making its way around social media Wednesday shows a three-minute conversation two-time Masters champion Scottie Scheffler had with a Louisville police officer in the aftermath of his May 17 arrest.

"As I was pulling in, an officer told me to stop," Scheffler said."I did not know he was a police officer. I thought it was a security guard and I was mistaken." "I should have stopped. I did get a little impatient because I was quite late for my tee time," Scheffler said."He grabbed my shoulder and hit me. It seemed to be a little over-aggressive.

The officer explained to Scheffler they were all wearing yellow vests with the word"police" on the back.
