A League of Legends fan analyzed skin releases in the game and found that Sett, a two-year-old champion, will soon have as many skins as Zilean.

A League of Legends player has discovered the champion most overlooked by skin designers. It is no secret that League of Legends players love skins, a single skin raised $7 million dollars for charity last year. As League of Legends is free-to-play so cosmetics are one of the company's main ways of profiting off of the popular MOBA.

There is a long-standing tradition of a small subset of League of Legends champions getting preferential treatment with regards to the frequency with which they receive skins and quality of the skins they receive. These champions are typically those with very high play rates. The more people that play a champion, the more people will want to buy a new skin for it.

There are plenty of champions that have gotten the short end of the stick with regards to skins over the years, but perhaps some of the most surprising champions to have received a significantly lower number of skins than expected are Taric and Kassadin, who have both been in the game for well over 10 years. On the other hand, one of League of Legends' newest champions Viego, is confirmed to be receiving his third skin after having been out for only six months.

League of Legends is a game in which players often get very attached to their favorite champions, and seeing those champions go for long periods of time without getting new skins is never what players want. Most champions in the game get either too many or too few skins based on how popular they are and how easy it is to make skins for their model, rather than an average number that is even across all champions.
