Lawyer from Philippines shot dead in Philly while on vacation with his mother

A government lawyer from the Philippines who was vacationing in Philadelphia with his mother died Sunday morning after being shot in the head while riding in an Uber on his way to the airport, according to police and social media posts from family.

Laylo was shot in the back of the head. University of Pennsylvania police took him to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 10:33 a.m. Sunday, Philadelphia police said. His mother was not seriously injured.that in recent weeks she and John Laylo were in the United States on “a very well-deserved vacation.”

This is beyond sad. I from philly and i would never choose to come here for vacation. Unless your training to be a solider in war philly is not a tourist attraction unfortunately or the city of brotherly love i hate the ignorance and disregard for life. Philly is embarrassing.
