LATINAFest: Mind, Body & Soul festival comes to La Plaza de Cultura y Artes on March 24. With the goal of highlighting and empowering female entrepreneurs, authors, artists, activists, athletes and more, the sixth annual LATINAFest is taking place on Sunday, March 24 at

“It’s a place where we feel seen, we feel heard, there are platforms for us to speak about topics that resonate with us. It’s a festival for multiple generations and everyone is welcomed, not just Latinas,” she added.LATINAFest: Mind, Body & Soul festival comes to La Plaza de Cultura y Artes on March 24. With about 3,000 people expected to attend the festival, Hernandez Castillo said that in the past the vibe has been so uplifting, she likes to compare it to “a Latina Disneyland.

Other speakers will include authors like Giovanna Gonzalez, who wrote the financial money guide “Cultura and Cash,” and Alejandra Campoverdi, whose book “First Gen: A Memoir,” talks about being a Mexican-American woman raised by an immigrant single mother in Los Angeles. Guests will also be able to hear from athletes such as, WBC Interim Boxing Champion Adelaida “La Cobra” Ruiz.There will be lots of shopping.
