The NBCUniversal streaming platform has set premiere dates for shows hosted by Larry Wilmore and Amber Ruffin.following a week later on Sept. 25.11-episode show
on Aug. 10, and it will make its debut a little over a month later. The topical show will feature Wilmore having discussions with high profile people from sports, politics and entertainment, covering the upcoming election and the important conversations of the week. It will be funny, sometimes serious, potentially awkward and most definitely honest.
Wilmore, who has an overall deal at Universal TV, executive produces with Jo Miller, Tony Hernandez, Brooke Posch, David Miner and Michael Rotenberg. Jax Media and Universal TV produce.writer and performer's signature smart, silly take on the week's news. It aims to deliver just the good parts of late-night TV — the comedy. Ruffin executive produces with Late Night's Jenny Hagel, Meyers and Mike Shoemaker. Universal TV and Sethmaker Shoemeyers Productions produce.
