Photos of members of the farmer-owned cooperative will replace the logo used since 1928.

Land O’Lakes is removing the Native American woman who has appeared on its containers of butter and margarine since 1928. Instead, future packages will showcase photos of real Land O’Lakes farmers and co-op members, along with the phrase “Proud to be Farmer-Owned,” according to a company release.

Land O’Lakes President and CEO Beth Ford did not cite cultural sensitivity as the reason for the change. “As a farmer-owned co-op, we strongly feel the need to better connect the men and women who grow our food with those who consume it,” she said. “Our farmer-to-fork structure gives us a unique ability to bridge this divide.”

Finally she is melted

Washington Redskins 🙄

about time

It’s being replaced with a picture of Elizabeth Warren.

Another example of logic running out the door. There is no way this logo insults Native American heritage. If anything, it celebrates it. And to suggest it celebrates child trafficing is ridiculous.

Why? Native Americans make bad butter?

Wonder if the Native American woman felt margarinlized?

More bowing down to SJW’s.

Well, bye.

AnnNyberg Honestly, don’t we have more to be concerned about?

AnnNyberg Damn. I see the logo as a nice tribute to native nature but okay. Dumb ass world. I wish people would put this energy into things that are really offensive like being lied to every day by a moron posing as the leader of the free world. Choose better shit to be offended by.

I will not buy it anymore.

The offended people who are offended by offended people are coming.

Boo! I loved that design and it's why I purchased that butter.

Uh oh I smell another protest brewing. Some idiot's gonna be triggered by this one

Finally.

Thank God! Now I can quit being offended.
