At one point in the night, she said she noticed a man exit her bedroom through a door that leads to the outside.Investigators said the victim and Lathon knew each other, and he knew how to get inside the house.The next morning the victim realized her pants were ripped, and she went to a hospital for a sexual assault forensic examination. DNA evidence confirmed Lathon as the suspect, investigators said.
