Lana Del Rey performed her first live stage show in more than three years at the MITA Festival 2023 in Rio De Janeiro over the weekend.
The “Summertime Sadness” crooner, 37, channeled Marilyn Monroe while wearing a blond wig as she performed songs from her latest album, “Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd.” The Brazil festival marks the first time the singer — whose real name is Elizabeth Woolridge Grant — has performed a full concert since November 2019.
In the last couple of years, Del Rey has only made appearances on late-night talk shows and she performed once with Bleachers at the High Water Festival in South Carolina earlier this year.Del Rey sang at The Mita Festival in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil.Last March, the Grammy nominee received the Visionary Award at the 2023 Billboard Women in Music for her outstanding career.Del Rey said during her speech“When I released my first album 14 years ago, the waters were not quite as warm.
The New York native told fans in a now-deleted Instagram Live video that thieves took her backpack containing her computer, multiple hard drives and a camcorder.“A few months ago, I parked my car on Melrose Place — actually Melrose Ave. in Los Angeles — and I stepped away for a minute,” she said in a now-deleted Instagram Live video Wednesday.For more Page Six you love …
