LA Continue Sees Huge Spikes In Confirmed Cases Of COVID-19

The number of new cases has more than tripled within the county — a trend that is expected to continue into next week. On Sunday, the county reported 8,891 new, positive confirmed cases of the coronavirus, and seven new deaths.

So LA County's measure to control covid - masking, shutdowns, negative business impact, etc.. clearly don't impact spread as neighboring counties that have none of this constraints are worse off. It's time to focus on treatment not containment.
