“I think there’s no reason why we can’t contend for a championship,” former midfielder Kyle Beckerman said. “Obviously, we still have a long way to go. But the way Pablo [Mastroeni] is going to coach these guys, they’re not going to get ahead of themselves. They’re going to stay humble and just try and keep marching to the next day. If we can take in some form like we’re seeing right now, there’s no one that RSL can’t beat on its day.
Beckerman isn’t alone in his increasing optimism for an MLS title for RSL. Las Vegas oddsmakers have moved the betting lines significantly in the last three months.. Now, it’s as low as +2800. That data is as of July 11.
