How Cori Bush Put Life Story to Work in Eviction Protest at CapitolFrustrated that the House adjourned without extending the eviction moratorium—and having experienced eviction herself—Rep. Cori Bush began a sit-in on the steps outside the Capitol. By the fifth day, the Biden administration had reversed course. Ok. I don’t want to see people evicted from their homes. That’s said, society cannot function this way. The owners of these buildings are citizens too. Hypocrite. Yapped about spending 200G for her security, then yammered about defund the police. All in the same breath. Government grifting lifer.
